The following are drawings I did of various unsuspecting Zoo patrons along the steps in front of the chimp exhibit at the L.A. Zoo.

Fortunately for me I live a few miles from a dairy farm so when I can't drive to the zoo to draw the exotic animals I can always make the trip to visit these delicious guys

Ceratopsid Guard

Oddly enough this drawing appeared in a dream I had. It wasn't like a was dreaming of dinosaurs or anything the dream presented the drawing as a drawing. It showed me the gesture and shapes in sort of a step by step instruction. It was so odd but as soon as I woke up the memory was still fresh in my mind and so I quickly sketched it out. You can see the original sketch in my sketchbook vol. 3 section. This is a more finished version which I am considering turning into a business card design.

July 15th Drawing Club: Tim Burton inspired theme

The following are my set of drawings from Bob Kato's Drawing Club for July 15th which was a Tim Burton inspired theme. I used a ball-point pen for the initial lay-in then used a darker fine tip pen. Since I have a bit of an affinity for the macabre I greatly enjoyed the theme.
